Summary
AnOverwatch 2fan just discovered that Mauga holds a cocktail in his new Breezy highlight intro, but only while players have his new Port-De-Paix skin equipped. This charming detail proves the bombasticOverwatch 2tank knows when to kick back and relax.
Since Mauga was first introduced as a part of Baptiste’s backstory inOverwatch 1, fans saw the massive marauder sporting a breezy Hawaiian-style shirt. Unfortunately, when Mauga finally made it into the game,Overwatch 2players were disappointed that the iconic crimson shirtwas nowhere to be found on any of his skins. Luckily,Overwatch 2finally remedied this absence with his Port-De-Paix skin, obtainable via the Season 11 Battle Pass.
If this iconic skin wasn’t exciting enough, it also has a special Easter egg that fans could easily miss. In addition to the Port-De-Paix skin, players can pick up the new Breezy Mauga highlight intro on theBattle Pass forOverwatch 2Season 11. The animation has Mauga taking a deep breath as if enjoying the fresh ocean breeze on the beach. However,Overwatch 2fan Hazelet discovered that Mauga also has a coconut cocktail in this highlight intro – but only while using the new Port-De-Paix skin.
Mauga’s Port-De-Paix Cocktail in Overwatch 2
Mauga’s love of cocktails is nothing new toOverwatch 2. They can be seen in his very first depiction alongside Baptiste, in one of Baptiste’s in-game sprays featuring the massive hero, and inMauga’s origin story fromOverwatch 2. He even has one in the new Beachy emote, also found in theOverwatch 2Season 11 Battle Pass.
Needless to say, fans got a kick out of this particular detail. While the Port-De-Paix skin itself is obviously hugely popular, the fact that Mauga also gets his iconic cocktail specifically with it was icing on the cake. That said, some players might not have even noticed the conditional nature of the cocktail, considering how naturally the twoOverwatch 2Season 11 cosmeticsgo together.
There’s plenty of other summer fun to enjoy inOverwatch 2Season 11 as well. The Summer Games return toOverwatch 2on July 9, along with new Lifeguard skins for Junkrat, Lucio, Kiriko, Lifeweaver, and Roadhog. Beyond that,Overwatch 2fans can also enjoy the upcomingTransformerscrossover event, set to begin on the same day as the Summer Games. Needless to say,Overwatch 2players will have plenty of activities to keep them busy during the summer months.
