In the image, which focuses on the Zen-Nakji skin from 2019, the artist utilized a striking color palette to make the drawing pop. The blue of the water-based suit for Zenyatta formed a striking contrast against the pinkish hue of the octopus head. In addition, the signature orbs that float around the hero were replaced with even more tiny octopuses. Further enhancing the picture, the artist used vivid purple and yellow colors for the background.
The history of the Zen-Nakji skin inOverwatchis an intriguing story. The origin of the skin came from the professionalOverwatchplayer, Jjonak. As one of the most skilled players in the Overwatch League, Jjonak became known for his impressive playmaking with Zenyatta. After being named the Most Valuable Player of the Overwatch League’s first season, the developers of the game decided to celebrate his great play by designing a new skin for Zenyatta inspired by the pro player’s love of octopuses. As a result, the octopus-themed Zen-Najki skin was born.
