Summary
Players looking to sink their teeth intoPalworld’s late-game content will all, at some point, prioritize the making ofLegendary Spheres. Unlocked at level 44 with 5 Technology Points, Legendary Spheres are, at the time of writing, the best Spheres in the game and a player’s best chance of capturing a Pal, no matter the level or capture rate.
Some Pals at the higher echelons of the level cap are only feasibly obtainable when using Legendary Spheres, whilst other Pals are just so useful that capturing them with a Legendary Sphere is encouraged. Since making Legendary Spheres is no easy task, players should know which Pal they should use their hard-earned capturing device on.
10Verdash
One Of The Best Workers In The Game
Verdash’s quality lies in its aptness to being a Base Pal, one of the best in the game. The Gale of the Wind has Work Suitability in 5 areas, 3 of them being level 2 (Planting, Lumbering, and Transporting) and 2 of them being level 3 (Handiwork and Gathering). With high-levelWork Suitability in many of the core needs for a base, Verdash is a must-have for any player.
In combat, Verdash also proves useful with its Grassland Speedster Partner Skill, increasing player movement and changing all player weapon damage to Grass. With its home of the No 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, meaning players must illegally capture it, using a Legendary Sphere should make sure a player arrives back at base with a Verdash guaranteed.
9Grizzbolt
It’s The Mascot For A Reason
As one of the first Pals shown to the public and one of its most well-known mascots, Grizzbolt backs up its popularity with its strength. The ability to give Grizzbolt a massive Gatling Gun via its Yellow Tank Partner Skill provides players the ability to shred through enemies, but even without the weapon, Grizzbolt has good AOE and single-targetelectric attacks.
Due to its low spawn rate, its habitat of No 1 Wildlife Sanctuary, meaning players will have to skirt the law to attempt to catch the creature, and its low capture rate, players should save themselves the trouble of wasting dozens of other rarity Spheres and maximize their luck by using a Legendary Sphere instead.
8Orserk
The Battery That Keeps Bases Going
When arriving upon the late game ofPalworld, players will more than likely have various Production Assembly Lines and other useful contraptions, such as Electric Medicine Workbenches that are in need of electricity. Orserk is the single best Pal for all of a player’s electrical needs, having a level 4, the highest a Work Suitability can go to as of this moment, in Generating Electricity.
Along with this, Orserk’s Lightning Strike, learned at level 7, has a whopping 120 power, making it a viable option for a player’s team very early on. When encountered at the No 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, players should be ready with Legendary Sphere in hand to take on the Roaring Thunder.
7Anubis
High Handiwork And Higher Damage
The highest current level for a Pal’s Work Suitability to sit at is level 4. Anubis has level 4 Handiwork, quite possibly the best Work Suitability in the game. On top of this, it has some of the best Ground moves in the game, such as Ground Smash, which has a devastating 140 power and inflicts damage in a large AOE.
Patrolling northeast of the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant waypoint, Anubis is a powerful Palwith a great designthat also serves well at a player’s base camp, making it a prime candidate for players to use their precious Legendary Spheres on.
6Blazamut
A Fiery Powerhouse
With a level 3Kindling Suitabilityand a level 4, the highest in the game, Mining Suitability, Blazamut wouldn’t look amiss among the rest of the Pals at a player’s base. However, the Cursed Tyrant’s main strength lies in its combat ability. With a high Melee Attack stat and access to Fire Ball and Rock Lance, both 150 power moves, Blazamut will decimate the opposition.
Its Partner Skill, Magma Kaiser, enhances Fire attacks when mounted, meaning players can do large amounts of damage to anyone who stands in their way. Found at the No 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, players should use Legendary Spheres to obtain a Blazamut before they are caught for their illegal capturing.
5Lyleen
The Support Pal Everyone Needs
One of the better support Pals in the game, Lyleen has good cover for a lot of skills and abilities that other Pals lack. Lyleen’s level 4 Planting Suitability and level 3 Medicine Production Suitability are some of the best in their respective fields, and with level 3 Handiwork and level 2 Gathering, this Pal can become a cornerstone of any base a player decides to make.
The best of Lyleen comes from its Partner Skill, Harvest Goddess, which greatly heals the player when in combat, something very few other Pals can do. The Queen of Lilies can only be found at No 3 Wildlife Sanctuary, so players should use a Legendary Sphere to catch the useful Pal before the authorities can get a hold of them.
4Frostallion
The Best Ice Pal Available
Being a Legendary Pal, Frostallion’s stats are quite impressive and would make any player mark it as one of their priorities. What makes Frostallion even better, though, is its Partner Skill, Ice Steed, which not only allows a player to mount the Legendary Steed of Ice and take to the skies but also changes the player’s attacks to Ice and enhances Ice attacks when mounted.
Frostallion will be encountered east of the Land of Absolute Zero waypoint at level 50, meaning using anything other than Legendary Spheres will lead to disappointment. For massive damage output and a new Legendary Pal to add to the arsenal, Frostallion is a must-have for players looking to dominate late-game content.
3Kitsun
Have No Fear Of The Weather
Players will have to wait until the dead of night and traverse towards the Frostbound Mountains to have the opportunity to catch the Guardian of the Azure Flame, but it will be worth it. Its partner skill, Clear Mind, means players will be unaffected by the heat or the cold when riding upon Kitsun, allowing them to reach places they couldn’t before without the right armor.
With its useful unique ability, players should always look to try and get this Pal as quickly as possible since they’ll be able to traverse the rest ofPalworldunchained. Due to Kitsun’s skittish nature making it prone to run away when the Player gets close, a Legendary Sphere should save players a frustrating encounter.
2Jormuntide
Unleash The Wrath Of The Sea
The Emperor of the Sea holds one unique ability that no other Pal does, one which will immediately make players want to make Jormuntide a part of their party: unlimited swimming. Jormuntide’s Partner Skill, Stormbringer Sea Dragon, prevents the player from losing stamina when mounted and traversing across water.
Along with good stats, high power moves, and its unique ability which will allow players to discover the entirety ofPalworld’s map without having to worry about stamina consumption, Jormuntide should become an essential component to anyone’s endgame team. Players should stock up on Legendary Spheres and head south from the Investigator’s Fork waypoint in order to capture thebiggest Pal in the game.
1Jetragon
Let Loose Destruction From Above
Jetragon is quite possibly the best Pal in the game. It is the fastest flying mount and itsgreat utility Partner Skill, Aerial Missile, allows it to rapidly fire missiles while mounted. The Legendary Pal also has impressive damage-dealing Fire, and Dragon moves such as Fire Ball and Dragon Meteor, which both have 150 power.
It will be encountered at level 50, the currentPalworldlevel cap, in the Volcanic Cavern. Due to its high level and significant toughness, players will need to come extremely prepared and craft themselves a plethora of Legendary Spheres, as it’s the only feasible way of catching the Legendary Celestial Dragon.
