However, it sold out as soon as it became available to purchase, and it left many without a copy as Square Enix’s supply was limited. Fortunately, the game is available for digital download both in a bundle and separately for those who are only interested in particular titles. Unfortunately, if players without a physical copy want to proudly display one on their shelves then they will have to rely on buying fromresellers who are listingFinal Fantasy Pixel Remasterfor insane prices. However, there is still a chance for collectors to get their hands on a (much more affordable) copy next month.

Online retailer Playasia will be restocking physical copies of theFinal Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collectionfor the Nintendo Switch on June 15. Only Asia region physical copies are available, but they are compatible with all Nintendo Switch systems. Multiple language options are available including English. It will cost 79.99 USD.
A noticeable difference between the North American version compared to the version for the Asia region is there are no age ratings on the cover or on the cartridge. There are also pixelated characters from theFinal Fantasyseries on the reversed side of the cover. There are no differences in gameplay between the two versions. Players, both novices and veterans of the series, will be able to experience the beginnings that started it all for the popular JRPGFinal Fantasy, including itsturn-based combat that is no longer present in modernFinal Fantasygames.
