The sleek design of the original has been preserved but also updated to improve user-friendliness. Even though more features are boasted, the PSVR2 headset is slimmer than the first and also weighs less, which will help make VR usage more comfortable. Other technical improvements include a lens adjustment dial to give users an active choice in optimizing the lens distance and view while playing. One of the most important updates to the hardware is the addition of a new vent to disperse heat better, which neatly addresses the issue of lens fogging up due to heat generated by the headset. It is clear a lot of thought has gone intoimproving upon the original PSVR headset hardware.
