Summary
APokemonfan and artist put their talents to work as they created human versions of the Normal-type Pokemon Zigzagoon and Linoone and shared their work on social media for others to see. ThePokemonartist, known for their previous work onturning Pokemon such as Poochyena and Mightyena into humans, was complimented by other Pokemon trainers for their continued efforts.
Known respectively as the Tiny Raccoon and the Rushing Pokemon, Zigzagoon and Linoone first appeared inPokemon Ruby and Sapphire. In addition, these Pokemon received Regional variants inPokemon Sword and Shieldthat were Dark and Normal dual-types. Similar to other Normal-type Pokemon such as Rattata and Yungoos, Zigzagoon is among the first critters a fledglingPokemontrainer will encounter in the Hoenn region. Upon reaching level 20, Zigzagoon evolves into Linoone, whereas a Galarian Linoone can further evolve into Obstagoon during the nighttime starting at level 35. While the original version of Linoone is far fromthe strongest Pokemon in the Hoenn region, it can use a variety of TMs and HMs to make getting around the map easier. However, one fan artist gave both Zigzagoon and Linoone some added charm.
On Reddit, aPokemonfan named endifi redesigned Zigzagoon and Linoone as humans. Withcute redesigns of Pokemon such as Mudkipalso under their belt, endifi continued to create and post their art in Pokedex order. Sticking with the brown and white color schemes of Zigzagoon and Linoone, the OP made Zigazagoon into a young girl wearing a brown dress with white sleeves and a headband to hold the ponytail in place. The artist kept Zigzagoon’s ragged fur intact by giving the human form a broomstick to hold that looked similar to the Pokemon’s tail. As for Linoone, endifi gave their human form a feminine appearance with long brown hair, bright hair highlights, and a light-colored dress that had flowing fur as arm covers.
To define Linoone’s blue eyes, the human form was given large blue lenses that covered half of the face, similar to a mask. As was the case with their previous work,Pokemonfans complimented the OP for their effort. One user pointed out the fact that Zigzagoon’s broom was due to its Pickup ability, which allowed Zigzagoon to randomly find items to hold in between battles.
While Zigzagoon and Linoone arestill missing fromPokemon Scarlet and Violetat the time of writing, that has not stopped fans from remembering these two Pokemon. Only time will tell when these Pokemon will make their return to the series.
