Just becausePokemon GOtrainers won’t be attending an in-person event forGO Fest 2020doesn’t mean they don’t want to represent the game and enjoy some event-themed swag. With that in mind, Niantic is releasing a few different types of swag for GO Fest 2020, ranging from clothing that can be purchased from Pokemon Center to print and construct at home crafts.
A major part of GO Fest in past years has been gathering with the rest of the community and making new connections around the world ofPokemon GO. Hanging out at game sites and Team Lounges was a fantastic way to do this and obviously players are going to miss that part of the experience this year. Luckily, Niantic is doing everything it can to make GO Fest feel like a truly global experience and help provide materials for trainers to set the scene wherever they are playing.

First off, there is still going to be an official GO Fest 2020 t-shirt that players will be able to purchase (and we’re talking about a real t-shirt for the player, not anin-game trainer shirt). Trainers do not need to have purchased a ticket for the actual event to buy this shirt from the online store. Additionally, there will be some print out and construct at home crafts that give players the chance to set the scene a bit better with an adorable paper Gift.
