Summary
Niantic has released the schedule for the Community Days and other in-game events that are slated to be released as part of the upcoming season ofPokemon GO. The ongoingPokemon GOseason, Timeless Travels, kickstarted at the beginning of December and will conclude at the end of February.
It’s been quite an eventful past few weeks forPokemon GOfans, with the series of holiday-themed events being one of the major highlights of the season. Players also had a chance to catch some new Pokemon and their shiny variants, alongside someHisuian forms of fan-favorite Pokemon such as Samurottand Typhlosion. As players eagerly wait for the next season to arrive, the developers have shed some light on what they have in store.
As usual, there are three regular Community Days this season, alongside a Classic event that focuses on Pokemon featured in past events. The other in-game events have been reduced from a total of six in the ongoing Timeless Travels season to only four. This can be attributed to the fact that there were a few extra events last season, to mark the end of the year. Apart from the schedule, the developers have neither revealed which Pokemon will feature in the Community Day events, nor any details about the other in-game events.
Other in-game events
More often than not, fans do have a fair idea of what to expect from the next season ofPokemon GOby the time the schedule is released, thanks to the leakers in the community. However, that is not the case this time around, as there has been barely any information that has surfaced lately. The only speculation players have for now is thatWhite & Black Kyurem might make their way intoPokemon GO, considering that Niantic had earlier released them in the game by mistake at the start of the season.
While a number of Generation 9 Pokemon including the likes of Primeape’s evolution, Annihilape, and the engine Pokemon, Varoom, were added to the game recently, fans are curious to see morenew Pokemon from the land of Paldea. A major debate in the community is about which Pokemon will be featured in the Community Day Classic, with Beldum, Gible, and Rhyhorn being some of the popular choices.
Notably, many have highlighted thatBeldum has been spawning more often in the wild inPokemon GO, which could be an indication that there could be an event around it in the near future. With the end of the Timeless Travels season drawing close, it shouldn’t be long before fans get to learn more about what surprises the developers have in store for the upcoming season.
