As mentioned, some Pokemon are found in the new biomes, including the addition of Wiglett and Wugtrio on beaches. However, not all of the game’s beach biomes actually contain these new Pokemon. These Pokemon are limited to places where the biome is coded as “natural,” specifically “natural=coastline” and “natural=beach.” Whether or not the new beach biomes in odd places are a mistake or not, they don’t have this specification, and thus those Pokemon can’t actually spawn there.
