Throwable weapons are abundant inRed Dead Redemption 2that have different traits. Some are essential to stealth, whereas others might be beneficial in starting wildfires or explosions to rival the legendary beasts inRed Dead Redemption 2.

8Double Bit Hatchet

The Double Bit Hatchet can be found west of Wallace Station. It’ll be embedded in a tree stump. Players will know they are close to the area as it is surrounded by a broken wooden fence. The Double Bit Hatchet is a good melee weapon, as well as a decent throwable. However, it has one noticeable drawback.

There is only one Double Bit Hatchet, meaning players can throw it, but they will need to retrieve it. The fact that it is a Hatchet means it will deal decent damage, especially in stealth, but it has a slow charge-up time due to its heavy nature. This may go againstDutch van der Linde’s many plans.

7Hunter Hatchet

Players that venture through the Grizzlies can find the Hunter Hatchet in Window Rock. It’s a good Hatchet in one ofthe best open-worlds, one that players can use to hack at their foes, even if the intended use of the weapon is to hack trees down instead. Yet, this is the wild west, so players can do what they want.

The Hunter Hatchet is another throwable that lacks the ammunition of other throwable weapons. Although perfect for stealth opportunities due to the fact it can one-shot enemies in the back and head, if players miss, they will need to run to retrieve it.

6Ancient Tomahawk

The Ancient Tomahawk is a spectacle based on its appearance and overview. It’s a traditional throwing weapon that one would see from a native tribe. Players might want to use the Ancient Tomahawk to honor those who had their lands stolen, or simply because it’s a cool-looking weapon.

In upper Ambarino, players will find the Ancient Tomahawk west of Calumet Ravine. Players might need to look carefully, as it is lodged within a wooden target. There’s nothing entirely wrong with this weapon, it’s just the slow charge time and lack of ammo that makes it lesser.

5Tomahawk

There are a few ways to get thesequel returningTomahawk inRed Dead Redemption 2. Players will either need to purchase it for $4 at any Fence or the Trapper after reaching Chapter 2, or, they can find an abandoned stagecoach in Southern Cumberland Forest. Tomahawks are unique to other throwing and melee weapons due to their quick projectile speed.

The Tomahawk acts identically to the Ancient Tomahawk, with there only minor visual differences. However, the reason the Tomahawk comes out superior is that it can be purchased, so players will not have to worry about losing it if they miss their target.

4Fire Bottle

There’s nothing more dangerous than being in a forest armed with only a glass bottle with flammable spirits and a cloth fuse. The Fire Bottle is an explosive projectile that can cause a large burst of fire on the ground. The fire will also spread around the area, catching anything and anyone in its wild path of destruction, a weapon that will certainly disrupt therelaxing slow-paced open-world.

Fire Bottles can be purchased for $0.75 from all Fences, but only after completing “The Fine Joys of Tobacco”. The Fire Bottle isn’t hard to craft either, so players will always have a great supply of a weapon that can burn enemies alive in a gruesome fashion.

Throwing Knives have a small hitbox, which means players will want to be precise. However, this is rewarding because the smaller hitbox will force players to aim for the upper back or the head to get an instant kill. They can be recollected off of bodies and purchased for $2.50.

2Poison Throwing Knife

The Poison Throwing Knife acts identically to the Throwing Knife, apart from the addition of damage over time. Players can utilize the Poison Throwing Knife to damage animals that are too big to take down in one hit, or, to take out enemies that are hiding behind cover if they have been hit by a throwing knife that missed the insta-kill. It’s a great weapon for bounty hunterslike Sadie Adler to enjoy.

Poison Throwing Knives are crafted when the player is at a camp. However, they will need Flight Feathers which are plucked from eagles and hawks. Players will also need Oleander Sage, so it’s best to enjoy some plant picking. The Poison Throwing Knife helps players provide their enemies with a lingering death if they can’t pull off those stealthy insta-kills.

1Dynamite

Although Dynamite may have been intended for mining and construction, cowboys have a different use for it in thisimmersive historical game. Dynamite can unleash fury onto the battlefield, with very high damage being put out with each explosion. Dynamite is a quick way to clear out enemies or to deal with enemies that refuse to get out of cover, or, perhaps just a verydangerous and big bear.

Players can have up to 8 sticks of Dynamite in their inventory, which makes them an explosive payload just waiting to happen. After completing “Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall?” Players will find this projectile at any Fence for $1.
