Red Dead Redemption 2was a massive success for several reasons, though its memorable cast of characters was undoubtedly one of its main draws. Recently, a talented fan ofRed Dead Redemption 2took to the series’ main subreddit to show some appreciation for four key Van Der Linde gang members.

Tributes toRed Dead Redemption 2characters are nothing new. Some fans have made custom LEGO figures for Arthur and recreated his journal, while others designedmods dedicated to beating up Micah. Paintings of John Marston have been shared, as have posts debating Dutch Van Der Linde’s logic. Now, one fan of the beloved 2018 release has showcased a collection of artwork that pays tribute to all four of these characters.

The fourRed Dead Redemption 2art pieces come courtesy of Reddit user mikesartwrks. Each is an interpretation of someofficialRed Dead Redemptioncharacter art, with red backdrops used for the pieces. A minimalistic approach is taken with the colors, as each character is left entirely white and black. This proves to be a great blend of colors, making for some aesthetically pleasing art where fans can clearly make out every single character.

On the top row, protagonistsJohn Marston and Arthur Morgancan be seen. The latter is seen holding up a shotgun and walking forward, while the former is aiming a shotgun just like he does in the key art for the originalRed Dead Redemption. Dutch the schemer can be seen holding up a revolver and looking forward, with a fair bit of detail present on his hat and clothing. Micah rounds out the portraits, with his long hair and signature beard easy to make out. His pose sees him holding up two revolvers, matching his official artwork perfectly.

Unsurprisingly, the post was met with hundreds of upvotes and plenty of praise fromtheRed Dead Redemptioncommunity. However, in between the comments that showed love for the artist and their work, a few gamers focused on Micah’s inclusion in the lineup. TaxFraud4Life stated that a “rodent” and “pest” snuck onto the fourth canvas, a nod to Micah’s role as a traitor. Another commenter, Astrojef, stated that they would buy the Micah art for their shooting range, showing their level of disdain for the villain.

While the post does showcase how hated Micah is, it is also a clear display of how passionateRed Dead Redemption 2fans are about the Rockstar Games title.WheneverRed Dead Redemption 3happens, its characters clearly have a lot to live up to, as fans have been showcasing their appreciation of theRed Dead Redemption 2cast for years now.
