Although bounty hunter missions inRed Dead Redemptionare not as detailed or illustrious as they were inRed Dead Redemption2, that doesn’t mean that they are without their share of fun. Players should check out theRed Dead Redemptionbounty hunts to further immerse in the Wild West, and bring a more tamed element of law into the game with these targets that need capturing, or killing.

5Kent Gallaway

Kent Gallaway is wanted for one thing, and one thing only: murder. Murder is a serious crime, and as the Wild West makes its way toa more civilized age, murder is not acceptable. Players can find Kent Gallaway’s wanted poster in West Elizabeth’s civilized areas. What’s most special about this wanted bounty isn’t the story, but the reward.

When hunting Kent Gallaway, players can bring home $600 as long as they bring in the character alive. They just have to ignore his vulgar threats whilst they ride into town on a horse. Most strangely, Kent Gallaway’s character can be seen in the world and a few missions involving the Williamson Gang.

4Americus Roe

Americus Roe does not lend himself and his skills to any gang. He is loyal to just himself, which makes him dangerous. Americus Roe’s bounty poster can be found anywhere, as it’s a transitory bounty. Americus Roe has been wanted in America for a fair few reasons, including the fact that he’s a murderer and a famed criminal gunfighter.

Players can expect a $600 reward if they bring in Americus Roe alive. However, they will have to encounter both him and his companions, fighting through them to get to their intended target. Bringing him in either dead or alive at the nearest settlement willprovide players with their blood money.

3Melvin Spinney

Players can find their pockets filled with $600 if they bring in the wanted murderer, Melvin Spinney inRed Dead Redemption. Although this target has to be brought in alive, it’s worth doing for near double the dollars. Melvin’s wanted poster can be found in West Elizabeth, and he seems to be an independent criminal that doesn’t need the inner workings andpowers of other gangsto keep him from doing what he wants.

However, Melvin’s lack of gang protection is what makes him a worthy bounty-hunting target for John Marston, as this Thieves’ Landing loitering drunkard won’t expect John Marston to provide him with a swift hand, lasso, orbullet of justice for the law.

2Hestor Frith

Another unaffiliated criminal to feature inRed Dead Redemptionis Hestor Frith, yet another murderer that has a hefty bounty on his head that players can go out of their way to claim. This wanted poster can be found in Manzanita Post or Blackwater, which are the more sophisticated areas of the game in an evolving and civilized20th century, which is exactly why Hestor Frith needsto see this new frontierof justice and law.

Hestor is one of the best and easiest bounties to hunt after inRed Dead Redemptiondue to the fact that they can be killed for a bounty of $300, or brought in alive for a bounty of $600. That’s a fair bit of money today and a whopping amount for the early20th century.

1Zebedee Nash

Another killer emerges in West Elizabeth, without the aid of a gang to keep them safe from thebounty huntersinRed Dead Redemption. Zebedee Nash is a murderer who needs to be brought to justice, and he will be worth $600 to the player if they are brought in alive. As with all bounties, they should be brought in alive, as although they don’t offer a level of depth to them that was seen inRed Dead Redemption2, they are basically a walking, smack-talking bundle of money for the player to use.

Zebedee Nash may have been seen a few times by the player before they are used as a bounty hunt target, as Nash frequents Thieves’ Landing, a popular spot for criminals due to its expansive saloon and brothel. More interesting still, Nash makes a few appearances through the story in a minor fashion, as he will be seen in these missions, but players have little role to influence the story. However, he is yetanother target for John Marstonto hunt for.
