Following the Season 2 update,Warzonedataminers found numerous references to Rebirth Island within the game’s files. The file names include “s3_rebirth,” which seems to suggest that Rebirth Island will return inWarzoneSeason 3. Rebirth Island was the second map added toWarzoneafter Verdansk and took place on a small island based on Alcatraz.

Rebirth Island Could Be Returning to Warzone in Season 3

Rebirth Island balanced its small size with a reduced player count that allowed for fast-paced action that wasn’t too chaotic or overwhelming. It seems likely that Rebirth Island will utilizeWarzone’s Resurgence mode, similar to Fortune’s Keep, and may join the other small map inWarzone’s new Ranked Resurgence mode.

Now thatCall of Duty’s Season 2 has launched,Warzonefans can drop into the revamped Fortune’s Keep, which now features new and redesigned POIs.Warzone’s Fortune’s Keep also features a new secret vaultfor players to discover.Call of Dutypreviously hinted that the vault might be linked to the Keep POI’s throne room, but fans are still working to uncover the secret area. It’s possible that the vault contains valuable loot, such asWarzone’s new Wonder Weapons or Zombies Power Ups, which were added as part of the Season 2 update.
