Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’sSteam page has been the source of several leaks over a short period of time. Just a few days before this leak, itaccidentally postedStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’sprospective release dateas August 04, 2025. The date was quickly pulled down, but almost immediately after,Star Wars Jedi: Survivorannounced it would be appearing at The Game Awards. Players can safely expect a confirmation on the launch date, as well as a formal reveal of the Obi-Wan pre-order bonuses, during the awards show on December 8.
Some players are curious why it seemsStar Wars Jedi: Survivoris giving them Obi-Wan’s padawan lightsaber, rather than the one he used as a hermit on Tatooine. However, considering it is the Hermit Lightsaber Set, it may also includeObi-Wan Kenobi’s later lightsaber model. Players may have the chance to choose between the different sabers he used, and possibly combine them together, if the lightsaber customization is as robust inStar Wars Jedi: Survivoras it was in its prequel.
Even more interesting is the presence of the blaster as a cosmetic option. Cal’s new design forStar Wars Jedi: Survivorfeatures a blaster prominently on his hip, but it is currently unknown how it will be used. It is possible he may be able to wield the blaster himself, or that a rumored second playable character will use it. Either way,Star Wars Jedi: Survivorfans can expect to have some of their questions answered soon, as its Game Awards showcase will also feature some new gameplay footage.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris set to launch in 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
