The Epic Games Store updated its listing forUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectiontoday with the October 19 date, but it has since updated the description to remove any mention of the date. Besides potentially leaking theUncharted: Legacy of Thieves CollectionPC release date, the Epic Games Store has also leaked a crossover promotion betweenUnchartedandFortnite. According to the since-revised description, those that pre-orderUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionon the Epic Games Store will get their hands on aFortniteglider that looks like Sully’s seaplane. The seaplane glider will be added to theFortniteitem shop on November 17 for those that don’t pre-order, according to the leaked info.
Fans should always take leaks with a grain of salt, but since the information is coming from the Epic Games Store, it seems fairly safe to assume that it is legitimate. Lending the leak more credibility is the fact that it matches the release date that Steam leaked for the game a couple of months back. And even if October 19 doesn’t turn out to be the exact release date for thePC version ofUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, one has to imagine that it will still be fairly close to that date. After all, the PC version of the collection is expected to launch by the end of the year, and there are only a few months left before 2022 comes to a close.
In the meantime, this Epic Games Store listing may potentially be evidence of the rumored PlayStation Showcase for September 2022. Reputable insiders have said that Sony plans to host aPlayStation Showcasethis month, though one has yet to be announced. If it happens, one has to imagine that theUncharted: Legacy of Thieves CollectionPC release date would be one of the planned announcements for the show, so perhaps the Epic Games Store jumped the gun on the reveal. Whatever the case may be, fans should find out sooner rather than later.
