Recentrumors claim that many more Xbox titlesare set to go multiplatform as well, with an insider saying that the majority of Xbox games will come to the PS5 “at some point.” The new strategy is apparently due to Xbox’s struggling sales outside the United States, as Microsoft hopes to boost revenue by releasing some of the Xbox’s better exclusives on competing platforms. While some Xbox fans are frustrated by the new approach, many PlayStation users welcome the expanded library of titles.
PlayStation enthusiasts will also welcomeSea of Thieves' massive lineup of Trophies, which wasrevealed by TrueTrophies. At launch,Sea of Thievesincludes 60 base Trophies and 194 additional ones. To earn the Platinum Trophy forSea of Thieves, users only need to complete the 60 base challenges. While it might seem a bit daunting to go after all 254 Trophies, users who already unlockedSea of Thievesachievements on other platforms are in luck, as some Trophies automatically unlock after logging into the same account they previously used. However, the majority of Trophies need to be re-earned. PlayStation owners planning to sail the open waters can preorderSea of Thievesfor $40.

The Trophy list calls for users to take part in a widevariety ofSea of Thievestasks, including challenges related to combat, sailing, looting, and more. As is often the case in other games, Trophy hunting inSea of Thievescan help guide a player towards many of the game’s most central and entertaining aspects. However, some Trophies can also be quite time-consuming, like the Voyager of Lost Souls Trophy, which requires users to complete 250 Order of Souls voyages.
In anticipation ofSea of Thieves' PS5 release, Rare has continued improving the game in recent months. In March,Sea of Thievesfinally receiveda legitimate anti-cheat system which should have a significant impact on the cross-platform game’s cheating issue.
Later in March, Rare also revealed the2024 roadmap forSea of Thieves. This year, users can expect to see new weapons, movement mechanics, ship types, and more while exploring the ocean blue.
