The climbing mechanics inStar Wars Jedi: Survivorare more intricate than in the previous game. Respawn Entertainment took their time to stop Cal Kestis from randomly falling off of climbable objects, or missing ledges by an inch. Characters have a double jump, a force dash, as well as much faster climbing hands.

However, there’s something the game does not tell its players, which is that they can speed up climbing by pressing the jump button. This will allow Cal to leap upwards on the climbing wall to save some time. Players will also note that they don’t need to hold the right trigger, as Cal will automatically grab climbable surfaces.
