As one comment points out, the gender of Leah’s ex is always the same as the player’s. Still, this is a realization about Leah that many fans are just now learning about because of the post.

In order to encounter this moment of dialogue, players are required to advance their relationship with Leah far enough to where she feels comfortable opening up about her past.
