New Homestead is one of the oldest human colonies in all the Settled Systems ofStarfield. Located on Titan, a moon of Saturn, the locals made a point of preserving their history and their way of lifeafter a cataclysm destroyed all life on Earth.
Doing this has turned New Homestead into a living history museum, and tourists from across the Settled System ofStarfieldstop by to wander around the settlement and poke into the lives of the inhabitants. Most New Homesteaders accept these tourists, but one local in particular wants all tourists to go home.

How to Start Tourists Go Home
The mission giver for “Tourists Go Home” is the town doctor, Giuliana Lakota. As the local doctor, her job involvespatching up both locals and tourists. Tourists in particular often get too close to the industrial machinery or stray into the methane pits. When players first enter New Homestead, they’ll see her arguing with the tour guide about his duty to keep the tourists safe. After that, players will find her in her office down the hall from the museum.
Doctor Giuliana wants fewer tourists hanging around town, and players can offer to help her scare some of them away. To do so, she’ll give players the Monster Costume suit and ask them to go out and scare some random tourists.
How to Keep the Monster Costume
The mission itself is easy. Once Giuliana provides the monster costume, go to the suit list in the inventory and put it on. After that, the mission’s objective marker will point to a random location outside the walls of New Homestead where some tourists are standing. Simply run up to the tourists to scare them, then return to Giuliana for a reward of 55 XPand a few credits. At this point, she’ll take the Monster Costume back.
If players want to keep the Monster Costume, they’ll need to perform this mission three times. “Tourists Go Home” refreshes every 48 UT hours, and since Titan has long days playersonly need to wait five local hoursto replay the mission. By this point, Giuliana has realized that the tourists are now interested in getting “scared” by the monster of New Homestead, but in the process they’re spending more time in safe areas. Ultimately, it’s accomplishing what she really wanted, and so players can replay this mission as often as they like.
Giuliana will continue to provide a spare Monster Costume after giving a copy as a reward, so players are free to store their version on their ship or at an outpost while continuing to replay this mission. In fact, players must wear the loaner Monster Costume to perform the mission.
The Monster Costume counts as a spacesuit, and it provides 50 resistance to all damage types but zero resistance to environmental effects. Putting it on also prevents players from equipping a helmet or a boost pack, but despite these issues players can wear it out onto hazardous planet surfaces without getting any warnings. All in all, the Monster Costume is great for gimmick and challenge runs but not for wearing out during normal gameplay. Still, players should take it to other settlements at least once to hear what people have to say when they see a giant tardigrade.
