Fans ofThe Legend of Zeldahave been creating tributes to their favorite versions of Link, Zelda, and Hyrule itself for decades now. ThoughBreath of the Wildis getting a lot of attention as of late, some fans are still dedicated to the previous games likeTwilight Princess. One skilled cosplayer has put together stunning cosplays of both Link and Zelda’sTwilight Princessdesigns.

It’s a long-running joke among fans that those new to theLegend of Zeldagames tend to assume that Link is Zelda, but in this intricate cosplay picture from LunaPetronelaa, that joke is proving to be true. She’s pieced together not one but two excellent cosplays that blur the lines between reality and fiction like someotherZeldafan creations. Still, seeing one person pulling off two very different looks is particularly memorable.

In the first half of the photograph, LunaPetronelaa has faithfully recreatedTwilight PrincessLink’s dark green tunic, white leggings, floppy cap, armored gauntlets, and tall brown boots, complete with a stylish wig and delicately pointed ears. However, this is just the beginning, as she’s also made a detailedrendition of the Master Swordand Hylian Shield. The result is a vibrantly lifelike Link who might as well have stepped right out of the video game, and he isn’t alone.

The second half of the photograph is dedicated to an even more detailed cosplay ofTwilight PrincessZelda featuring an ornate dress, pristine white gloves, a golden crown, long brown braids, and the slim blade known as Zelda’s Sword. The dress includes both the armored accessories and the intricate designs on the skirt, making it look like as if she too wastaken right out of aZeldagame. LunaPetronelaa’s take on Zelda also showcases pointed ears like her Link cosplay, as well as some striking eye make-up that sets it apart from her Link look.

These cosplays have been incredibly well received by other fans, many of whom immediately began complimenting LunaPetronelaa’s hard work. Some posters joked that she’d cosplayed both Zelda and the princess, while others accused her of specifically targeting bi fans with her gorgeous outfits. Another stated that this picture made them feel like a Goron, only for LunaPetronelaa to reply saying that she liked Gorons. The general consensus appears to be that herLegend of Zeldacosplaydid a great job capturing the spirit of both Zelda and Link, and several fans have expressed their jealousy at her genderfluid style.
