Similar to Valkyrie,Mira is a useful defending operatorthanks to her Black Mirror ability, which allows her to place a one-way window on nearly any wall. These walls can be reinforced or unprotected, but Mira’s Black Mirrors can crucially only be deployed on the deployed side of a reinforced wall. For this reason, it’s important that Mira’s teammates allow her to reinforce her own walls. This way, she can strategically place a Black Mirror where she needs it without any important walls being blocked off.
Always Participate In Recruit Rushes
Rainbow Six: Siege’s most basic operator is the Recruit, which lacks any special abilities, but does have a wide selection of available weapons. In the early days ofSiege, its community developed an unorthodox attack strategy called the “Recruit rush”, whereinall attacking players select Recruit and storm the objective. It can be surprisingly effective when defending opponents aren’t expecting it, and if a player’s teammates are indicating they plan to Recruit rush, it’s proper etiquette to get in on the fun.
Don’t Spoil An Ace
In games likeRainbow Six: SiegeandCS: GO, a player performs an ace when they’ve killed all players on the enemy team. It’s viewed as a major feat in most cases, and inSiege, players are greatly discouraged from spoiling another teammate’s ace. There are some cases, like in a ranked game, where spoiling an ace may be unavoidable to ensure a victory. If players can help it, however, it’s best to avoid killing any remaining enemies if another teammate is close to getting an ace.
