With the release of the critically acclaimedLast of Us 2in 2020, the studio behind it has been at the top of its game. WithNaughty Dog maintaining its stance as an innovative game developer, a position it’s held pretty much since the firstCrash Bandicootway back in the mid-1990s, it seems it’s been going from strength to strength. But it’s theUnchartedseries that really showed off Naughty Dog’s chops at creating blockbuster titles with compelling and more mature narratives. While Nathan Drake’s adventures may be over, aside from the film, there is still theLegacy of Thieves Collectionto get stuck in with, and the PC version may be coming this summer.
According to a recent update on SteamDB, a website that tracks all things related to Valve’s Steam client, it looks as though the recentUnchartedcollection will be available on PC by July 15. At the time of writing, neither Naughty Dog nor Sony have made any official announcement concerning the release date of this version of the game. However, it has been stated in the past that the PC port would be coming in 2022. So while the information on SteamDB has not been verified, it could well be something to keep an eye on.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectioncame out on PS5 in Januaryand features improved visuals of both the fourth installment in the series andThe Lost Legacy, the standalone expansion which came out in 2017, a year afterUncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Not much else has been said about the new entry, though the database does contain a number of change logs pertaining to the upcoming Steam release, including some screenshots that were added back in December. However, the latest update appears to be the first instance of an actual release date being mentioned.
Many fans will no doubt be excited about getting to play the collection on PC at last. WithUncharted 4being one of the best Naughty Dog games ever, only just behind the likes ofThe Last of UsandUncharted 2, it represents the final antics of Nathan Drake, as the studio does not appear to be taking the story any further.
However, there is still theUnchartedmovie starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. While it may not have quite done the games justice, it’s still received mainly favorable reviews, but doesn’t really hold a candle to the original source material.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionis currently available on PS5, with a PC release rumored to be out on July 15.
