You can also stock up on them and dry them to getRaisins, and you should strongly consider doing so, since these artisan goods have a secret and extremely useful purpose. To do this, however, you will first need to familiarize yourself with thebest ways to get Grapes in Stardew Valley.
Where to Find Grapes in Stardew Valley
Players have the option to either forage for grapes or cultivate them inStardew Valley. For those willing to explore, here are the locations where players can get their hands on grapes:
The Farm
The most straightforward way to obtain grapes is for players to plant them on their own farms. To do this, players will need aGrape Starter, which can be purchased at Pierre’s General Store during fall. Once players have obtained Grape Starters, they canplant them on their farm, and in due time, grapes will be ripe for harvest. This method provides a dependable and consistent supply of grapes.
The Mountain and Backwoods
Players who prefer to skip the effort of cultivating grapes on their farms canopt to forage for them. By entering the Mountain area, players can find naturally growing grapes, which take up 62% of all forageable items at this location. These grapes can be harvested in the summer and offer a valuable addition to a player’s foraging collection.
The Bus Stop
Another location to look for grapes is the Bus Stop, where the players can forage grapes during the summer. While exploring the bus stop of Pelican Town, players should remain vigilant, as 27% of all forageable items are grapes.
The Railroad
Visiting the Railroad during summer is another option, as it has the same 27% abundance of grapes. Exploring this area, players can not only collect grapes, but they can also get their hands on various other items, depending upon the season.
Forest Farm Map
This method is similar to the first, although it does not require planting a Grape Starter. In the Forest Farm map, a quarter of all forageable items collected will be grapes.
Garbage Cans
You’ll also want to check Garbage Cans every now and then during the summer season. Albeit with a small chance, grapes can spawn in them.
How to Make Raisins in Stardew Valley
Grapes are a pretty valuable fruit inStardew Valley, but their true value is revealed when you craft them into artisan goods, namely Raisins. To do this, players just need to place 5 grapes in aDehydratorand wait 24 hours.
Raisins can be sold profitably to earn a lot of Money, but besides that, they also have a secret use. If you place a bag of Raisins in a Junimo Hut, Junimos with a 20% chance will harvest twice as many crops.
InStardew Valley, players won’t gain access to the railroad until the 3rd of summer. This area becomes available once an earthquake clears the blocked pass.
