World of Warcraft Classic’sSeason of Discovery is now in Phase 4, and with that comes a ton of new content for players to participate in. Whether it is the newworld bosses (inside their own instances now)or the changes to the Rune system that came about during this phase, there is a lot for players to do and explore during this time.
One thing that Phase 4 added was a few new raids, one of which is called the Molten Core. While the world bosses have a new reset schedule that players will need to get accustomed to, the raids will be on the same schedule they have always been on. Here is a guide to help players know when access to the Molten Core Raid will begin and when the raid will reset each week.
When Does The Molten Core Raid Open?
The Molten Core Raidwill not be available to players when Phase 4 drops. In fact, it won’t be available for a bit after the release of the phase (two weeks, to be exact). Access to the raid will begin on Thursday, Jun 02, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. globally. This means that the raid will become available to everyone at once rather than being available at a designated local time, making it easier to coordinate a raid for the moment players are able to get inside the instance.
Molten Core Raid Reset Time
The reset timer for raids is the following:
The reset timer for raids is now on the days above, which is different for each region of servers. Thankfully, for players who are used to the raid schedule, this isn’t changing. Once the timer resets, players can go back into the raid and challenge it again but will have to wait until the next reset timer before going in the next time.
The Molten Core Raid is between the Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes zones, inside of Blackrock Mountain, a volcano. This raid will be scaled down to a size of 20 players; however, more players can join if they wish (which means less loot for those involved). There will also be 11 bosses in the raid rather than 10, and the raid will boast a new difficulty system. Players will be able to play on higher difficulties, which will allow them to obtain more loot during the raid (though it will be a lot tougher).
