WWE 2K22launched to mostly positive reviews last month, with many hailing it as a return to form for the franchise after the disastrousWWE 2K20. But even thoughWWE 2K22was much better-received than its predecessor, it’s not without its flaws, and fans have been vocal about their concerns with the game. The developers at Visual Concepts have listened to this feedback, issuing the big 1.09 update today to add new content and make improvements.

TheWWE 2K221.09 update adds the NXT 2.0 arena, which will go a long way in making the game feel less outdated. Prior to this update,WWE 2K22players were stuck with the older NXT arena, which hasn’t been seen on television for months. The addition of theNXT 2.0arena is certainly one of the biggest changes with this latestWWE 2K22update, though there will likely be quite a bit of fanfare for the MyGM changes as well.

WWE 2K22: How to Get Tag Titles in MyGM

More specifically, theWWE 2K22MyGM mode now has tag titles and larger match cards when playing on the Normal and Hard difficulties. It’s unclear why the Easy difficulty was left out of the equation, but in any case,WWE 2K22MyGM playerscan finally have their own tag team champions. The process is a little different in that players don’t simply select who they want their champions to be like is done with the singles titles. Instead players have to book a tag team match on one of their shows, and they’ll see an option to turn it into a title match. The winners of that match will then become the player’s first tag team champions.

The latest update gives the other game modes some love as well, with fans able to check out improvements toWWE 2K22MyFACTION, Universe mode, and more.
