Skyward Swordis an action adventure game released originally in 2011 for the Nintendo Wii. It was also rereleased digitally forZelda’s 30th anniversary in 2016 on the Wii U. This will be the first time that Nintendo fans can experience a true remastered version thanks to the Switch. While fans may not know exactly whereSkyward Swordfalls into the Zelda timeline, many still have a nostalgia for the original, even with some of the issues that came with the title.
The new version will be updated to address some ofthe flaws of the originalSkyward Swordfor the Wii, including the motion controls that many found difficult to wrangle with. The new HD version will also offer better graphics of course as players will finally get to see Skyloft in its full, high definition glory as it has never been seen before.
With all that being said, a cute little Hylian Shield emoji on Twitter seems like a wonderful, clever way to celebrate the upcoming game and its new amiibo. Many fans are hopeful that the shield sticks around for a while especially considering Hylian Shields could be used on Twitter whenBreath of the Wild 2finally gets a release date of its own.
